About Chris Miller

Chris Miller is a Columbia, Missouri attorney representing injury victims, workers, and people facing criminal charges throughout Central Missouri. Since founding the Law Office of Chris Miller, he has taken cases to jury trial, argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, and fought for clients at every level of the legal process.

Chris brings a depth of experience that goes beyond the courtroom. Early in his career he worked inside Missouri’s legal system — serving as a public-sector attorney for the Missouri Department of Social Services, the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, and the Division of Workers’ Compensation. That experience gave him firsthand knowledge of how these agencies operate, how claims are evaluated, and where the leverage points are — insight he now uses exclusively on behalf of his clients.

He also successfully argued before the Missouri Supreme Court in Gateway Taxi Management v. Division of Employment Security, 461 S.W.3d 830 (Mo. banc 2015), a case that expanded unemployment coverage for Missouri workers.

Chris handles personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense matters. If you’ve been hurt, denied benefits, or charged with a crime in Central Missouri, call for a free consultation. There is no fee unless we win.
